i was suffered fm TB long time back around 5 yrs back .... i am scared whether due to this reason my I-485 gonna be rejected. I already went trought the full 9 months medication at that time and been fully cures as my own mamaji was a TB specialist.
Can someone suggest me if they have gone through the same case. And if i need any documents to let them know that i am fully cured because my X-ray shows that spot/scars which says that i had TB and my mamaji told me that the scars will never go because of the medcation thing?? Please help

Just a heads up about the new filing requirements for I-129s and I-140s. See link. In a nutshell all I-129s go to Vermont Service Center and all I-140s go to the Nebraska Service Center.

Hi All,
I used the AR-11 form for the change of my address. I did it online. Also, while changing there is an option to change the address for any pending petition. In my case it is the I-485, which I changed.
My question is, how to verify if the address has actually changed in the system at USCIS. I checked my case status online and did not see any LUD's.
Please let me know if anyone of you have done the change of address and share your experience.

To everyone who reads my post. I apologize for not being clear. The article says that they are talking about eliminating the per country caps and giving green cards to STEM graduates. In my haste and excitement I should have spelled this out. Now with that said I do not appreciate the snide remark from the previous poster. EB3/EB2 categorization depends on a lot of other factors. But I understand your question is about base eligibility.
In general Masters requirement for a job is considered to be eligible for EB2.
Similarly Bachelors+5years exp req for a job is also considered to be eligible for EB2.
So your employers advertised job "could" very well be EB2 if all other conditions are met.

my wife has filed for her I-485 (AOS) with me.
She has an H1 whch expires in 2012.
she used her AP while entering US this year at port of entry. Office gave I-94 for one year(it expires in Jan 2011).
Now my question is does she has to do anything to renew her I-94?
If she doesnt renew her H-1 now will she be still in-status on H1?
does she have to renew her AP in order to stay in status?
This area of the law is very confusing and it would be great if some attorney or expert give their valuable suggestions on this.

AP is only for travel purpose. She will be either on AOS or H1 Status.
If she wants to work, she needs to get either EAD or keep the H1 status. Since she used the AP upon return, she is now not in H1B status. Check with attorney if you want to restore to H1

I was able to file for 485 during the summer of 07, have an EAD but never used. I got married later, and my spouse is currently on H4. I have to maintain the H1 to support the H4. I have a very good opportunity to move up in my job - Is there a way use my EAD and still support legal stay of my spouse?
